Balancing the need for energy with the
needs of communities and stakeholders
In 2005, UTS Energy significantly increased operational
and financing capability of the Fort Hills Oil Sands Project
by partnering with two world class leaders; Petro-Canada
and Teck Cominco.
Fort Hills Partnership comprises of Operator Petro-Canada
with 55% interest, UTS Energy with 30% interest and Teck
Cominco with 15% interest.
Together we will work to deliver a responsible, safe and
efficient Mining, Extraction and Upgrader operation for
the production of 190,000 barrels per day of bitumen.
